My first post :)
This is my first post in this blog...that is created exclusively for the ATDE Course:)
I'm still figuring out how to mix n match the colors.....and to see if I can play with some dynamic text effects...
As I was pondering over what to blog on, got a call which will be the fodder for my first post.
One of our Divison Administrator was complaining that he has seen dead-boring online courses and sections that was created by teachers/specialist.

- What can we really do to keep our courses winsome??
- What can we do to make learners captivated in the course till the very last module?
In the domain of "e-learning 2.0" there are umpteen number of tools that develop effective and user-captivating online courses.. the key is to make it pleasurable for the learner!
- Put togther a course so that it is active and thought-provoking
- Keep participants enagaged in activities (do not out do it !!)
- Include stories, lessons learned, discussions etc.
- Ensure that the trainer guides and track participants
- Take time to send feedback on their participation
- Blend the course with other learning tools, like blogs, an online assessment, online chats with fellow learners, a forum and embed a few videos
